We are lucky to have a large, bright classroom where we learn with our friends and teachers; Mrs McLean (Monday - Wednesday) and Mrs Hamilton-Smith (Thursday and Friday). We have a teaching assistant called Mrs Turner.
We work hard at our English and maths every morning and start each day with thirty minutes of phonics. We have fun challenging ourselves and get excited about new learning. In the afternoons we concentrate on topic work.
On Mondays we have singing with Robin Class and raise the roof as we learn new songs with Mrs McLean on her guitar. We have P.E. twice a week. Mrs Emery takes us for gym, dance and movement and we have a sports coach for multi-skills.
Summer Term 2018
This term our topic is called “Toys and Vehicles”. We have already turned our Home Corner into a design studio in readiness for our designing and making work this term. We are looking forward to finding out about old toys in our history work. In art our challenge is to make a sculpture of a space vehicle that is larger than a child!
Our Science work is a unit finding out about the properties and uses of some common materials and we are looking forward to some investigative activities.
At the end of term we will have an outdoor learning day based on a poem called“The Jumblies” with a making challenge for all the children. We also have an Infant trip to Gressenhall planned when we will all take part in a day of activities based around the story of “The Three Little pigs”.
We have a busy term to look forward to!
