We are lucky to have a large, bright classroom where we learn with our friends and teachers; Mrs McLean (Monday - Wednesday) and Mrs Hamilton-Smith (Thursday and Friday). We have a teaching assistant called Mrs Turner.
We work hard at our English and maths every morning and start each day with thirty minutes of phonics. We have fun challenging ourselves and get excited about new learning. In the afternoons we concentrate on topic work.
On Mondays we have singing with Robin Class and raise the roof as we learn new songs with Mrs McLean on her guitar. We have P.E. twice a week. Mrs Emery takes us for gym, dance and movement and we have a sports coach for multi-skills.
Spring Term 2019
This term our topic is called “Houses and Homes”. We have already turned our Home Corner into a space home in readiness for our designing and making work this term. We are looking forward to finding out about castles in our history work. In art our challenge is to make a sculpture of a space vehicle that is larger than a child!
Our Science work is a unit finding out about the properties and uses of some common materials and we are looking forward to some investigative activities.
We have a busy term to look forward to!
