"PE and Sport Premium Funding is designed to help primary schools improve the quality of the PE and sports activities they offer their pupils. We are spending over £450 million on this funding over the 3 academic years 2013 to 2014, 2014 to 2015 and 2015 to 2016. Schools receive funding based on the number of pupils in years 1 to 6. Schools must spend the funding to improve the quality of the PE and sport activities they offer their pupils, but they are free to choose the best way of using the money."

As you see schools are free to spend the PE and Sport Premium Funding in a variety of ways. However, we are still held accountable for how we have used the additional funding to improve the quality of PE and sport activities for our pupils.
New measures are included in performance tables that will capture the achievement of those pupils covered by the Pupil Premium.
In this 2017-18 school year, we expect to receive £8,460.
In the 2016-17 school year, our school received £8,460.
In the 2015-16 school year, our school received £3,479.
