Our teacher is Mrs Hamilton-Smith with Ms Earle on a Wednesday. We are also helped by Mr Lincoln. We are the oldest children in the school and we like to set a good example for the younger children, we wear our ‘Friendly Face’ badges with pride. We are working hard to demonstrate we can be independent, lifelong learners.
Mrs Hamilton-Smith is always happy to meet with parents. She is available for quick conversations at the start and end of each day. If you require a longer meeting, please arrange an appointment in person through the School Office.
Homework is set every Friday and is sent home with the Class Newsletter; it is handed in by the following Thursday. Homework will include a reading task, a piece of English and a math-based task. Spellings are also sent home to learn. Every child has a Homework Book and a Folder.
There is a Homework Club on Tuesday if children have any questions or need to access resources.
Children should have PE kit on Thursdays. PE kit should include a T-shirt, shorts, joggers and an extra sweatshirt (especially in winter). In colder months a hat and gloves may be beneficial. PE kit should be named and kept in a PE bag.
Please see the curriculum maps for details of our learning each term.
