Our teacher is Mr Aston. We are also helped by Mrs Emery and Mr Lincoln. We are the oldest children in the school. We like to set a good example for the younger children and wear our ‘Friendly Face’ badges with pride. We are working hard to demonstrate that we can be independent, lifelong learners.
Mr Aston is always happy to meet with parents. He is available for quick conversations at the start and end of each day. If you require a longer meeting, please arrange an appointment in person through the School Office.
Homework is set every Friday and is sent home with the Class Newsletter; it is handed in by the following Thursday. Homework will include a reading task, a piece of English and a math-based task. Spellings are also sent home to learn. Every child has a Homework Book and a Folder.
There is a Homework Club on Tuesday if children have any questions or need to access resources.
Children should have PE kit on Thursdays. PE kit should include a T-shirt, shorts, joggers, trainers and an extra sweatshirt (especially in winter). In colder months a hat and gloves may be beneficial. PE kit should be named and kept in a PE bag.
