Summer Term Wren Class

For the summer term, Mrs McLean will continue to teach Wren class on a Monday to Wednesday and Mrs Russell will be in on Thursday and Friday.  Joining us in the class are Mrs Turner, Miss Gibbs and Miss Hall.

We still hope to welcome in some volunteers when it is safe to do so.

The children will still need outdoor PE kits and layers as it could still be chilly especially at the start of term.  We will also be doing a lot of outdoor work in science, so the children will always need a sweatshirt/cardigan or coat to put on in case it is chilly.

Homework this term will take the form of reading (daily please), spellings to learn and occasional maths tasks to reinforce key facts. Reading books need to be returned each Friday to change if your child is reading at phase five or below. If your child is reading a phase 6 book or a free reader they have a book to read at home and can bring it in as soon as it is finished to change.

We are looking forward to a fun term of learning. Our topic is called Wonderful Creatures this term and our curriculum map can be found in the curriculum area of this website.
